Here are a few key databases that may be useful to get started in your postgraduate research (USQ Log in required).
- SAGE research methods is a database that will be very useful if you are conducting honours or postgraduate research. This database provides guides and handbooks on research design and methodology, statistics, data and writing. It also includes a project planner that offers a basic overview of the research stages, with links for further reading.
- IEEE Xplore contains the full-text of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) journal articles, conference papers standards.
- Scopus and Web of Science provide comprehensive access to abstracts and citation details for articles. They do not offer comprehensive access to the full text of these articles. However, they do offer a more comprehensive overview of the literature that exists on your topic. This is necessary when conducting a literature review. Once you have identified an appropriate article you can find or request the full text version.
