    • Learning activity - introduce yourself

A large part of studying online (as it is with face-to-face on-campus) is the opportunity to discuss topics, issues and even socialise with your classmates. Like many things in life, the greater the effort you put in with your course forums, the greater positive effect on your learning!

At UniSQ we expect that your online communication will always be respectful. This is sometimes referred to as netiquette which is an online communication 'code of conduct' that includes always being polite, not using language that may offend, respecting others' privacy, and not spamming. We expect that you, in all your online communications, use clear and concise language, are thoughtful about the tone of your communications, cite sources correctly, acknowledge others' contributions where appropriate, and are mindful of cultural differences. Remember, your digital footprint is difficult to erase, so think about what you have written before you hit send. Practising good netiquette means we will have a positive and productive online environment for everyone.
